What to do

AI-suggested

Until a fix is available, consider blocking or filtering malformed SAML assertion responses to mitigate exploitation risk.

Description

A critical denial of service vulnerability exists in the g_assert_not_reached functionality of Entr'ouvert Lasso versions 2.5.1 and 2.8.2. This flaw can be triggered by sending a specially crafted SAML assertion response, causing the application to crash or become unavailable.
