AI-suggested
A security update is available from Red Hat as part of the Red Hat build of Quarkus 3.33.3.SP2 release, which includes fixes for this and other vulnerabilities. Users should apply this update to remediate the issue. No alternative mitigations or workarounds are indicated in the vendor advisory.
Description
A vulnerability in Netty's SpdySessionHandler allows a remote attacker to open an unlimited number of concurrent remote-initiated streams due to the default localConcurrentStreams value being Integer.MAX_VALUE and no API to change it. This can cause unbounded memory allocation leading to JVM OutOfMemoryError and denial of service.
