Red Hat's advisory does not specify an official fix or patch availability at this time. Until a fix is released, users should review their use of @SecureField annotations and avoid applying them solely on getter methods for sensitive fields. Applying security constraints directly on the fields themselves is recommended to ensure enforcement. Monitor Red Hat advisories for updates and patches addressing this issue.
Description
A vulnerability in the REST Data Panache component of Quarkus allows an authenticated user to infer sensitive data values by exploiting a failure to enforce security constraints on entity properties when those constraints are applied via the @SecureField annotation on getter methods. This flaw affects filtering and sorting operations in generated REST resources, potentially exposing confidential information despite the values being omitted from the response.
