Until a fix is available, avoid processing untrusted .egi files and apply standard security controls to limit exposure.

Description

A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the .egi file parsing functionality of The Biosig Project libbiosig version 2.5.0 and the Master Branch (commit ab0ee111). This vulnerability can be triggered by a specially crafted .egi file, potentially allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code without any user interaction or privileges.
