What to do

AI-suggested

Until a fix is available, avoid opening untrusted OBJ files with the affected version of Open CASCADE Technology.

Description

A heap-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the RWObj_Reader::read function of the OBJ file parser in Open CASCADE Technology V8_0_0_rc5. This flaw allows a crafted OBJ file to trigger a denial of service or leak sensitive information due to improper buffer length validation when reading minimal OBJ lines.
