Until a fix is available, restrict physical access to the SPI bus and devices to trusted personnel only to mitigate the risk of password interception.

Description

CPCI85 Central Processing/Communication devices prior to version V05.30 have a vulnerability involving an unencrypted SPI bus connection to a secure element. An attacker with physical access to the SPI bus could observe the password used for secure element authentication and leverage the secure element to decrypt encrypted update files. This vulnerability has a medium severity score of 4.6 and does not have known exploits in the wild.
