A vulnerability in the Linux kernel TPM driver st33zp24 was fixed to address a missing cleanup on error in the get_burstcount() function. If get_burstcount() returns a timeout error (-EBUSY), the function st33zp24_send() previously returned without releasing a previously acquired locality, potentially causing resource locking issues. The fix ensures proper cleanup by using a goto statement to handle errors correctly.
