Until a fix is available, restrict administrative access to trusted personnel and networks. Monitor for suspicious offline feed uploads and consider disabling or restricting the offline profiler feed service if feasible.

Description

CVE-2026-76427 is a medium severity vulnerability in Cisco ISE's offline profiler feed service. It allows an authenticated remote attacker with administrative credentials to read arbitrary files on the affected device by exploiting XML external entity (XXE) processing. The attacker uploads a crafted offline feed package via the administrative interface, leveraging an XML parser that does not disable external entity resolution. This could also enable the attacker to issue requests to internal systems from the compromised device.
