Technical Analysis

The vulnerability identified as CVE-2026-19758 affects dromara lamp-cloud versions up to 5.10.0. It involves improper handling of the 'Name' argument in the chunk-check endpoint within the FileChunkController.java file, enabling remote attackers to perform path traversal attacks. This could lead to unauthorized access or modification of files. The issue was reported early to the project, but no response or patch has been provided. The CVSS 3.1 base score is 7.3, reflecting network attack vector, low attack complexity, no privileges required, no user interaction, and impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows remote attackers to traverse directories on the server, potentially accessing or modifying files outside the intended scope. This can lead to partial compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected system.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Since the project has not responded or issued a fix, monitor the vendor's official channels for updates. Until a fix is available, consider restricting access to the vulnerable endpoint or implementing network-level controls to limit exposure.
