AI-suggested

Upgrade the affected component to version b11796 or later, which includes the patch 0a1ef309cdbb9f2024f58a38fb4c42352c5db569. Current versions abort on detection of the issue, preventing silent exploitation, but the root cause fix is recommended once available. No other mitigations are indicated.

Description

A heap out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the Pocket-TTS component of ggml-org llama.cpp, specifically in the function list_pockettts_state_slots. This flaw is triggered by manipulation of the mmproj argument and requires local access to exploit. The issue can cause a crash due to an assertion failure in current versions, but the root cause is not fully prevented by design. A fix is available in version b11796.
