If you cannot patch yet, restricting network access to the vulnerable service may reduce exposure. Given the public exploit availability, cautious handling is advised.
Description
A high-severity weakness exists in libimobiledevice up to version 1.4.0 in the AFC Service component. The vulnerability is a double free in the service_receive function of src/afc.c, which can be triggered remotely. Public exploit code is available, and the vendor has not responded to the disclosure. Multiple specific versions are affected.
