AI-suggested

A patch is available in aiohttp version 0.3.12_12 that fixes the loss of host-only status when cookies are persisted and restored. Users should upgrade to version 0.3.12_12 or later to remediate this vulnerability.

Description

A vulnerability in aiohttp's CookieJar persistence causes host-only cookies saved and later restored to lose their host-only status. This results in cookies being sent to subdomains that should not receive them, potentially exposing sensitive cookie data. The issue affects versions from 0.3.6 up to but not including 0.3.12_12. A patch is available in version 0.3.12_12 to address this behavior.
