AI-suggested
Upgrade aiohttp to version 0.5.9 or later where this issue is fixed. The vendor has provided an official patch that restores correct host-only cookie behavior after persistence. No additional mitigation is required once the update is applied.
Description
A vulnerability in aiohttp's CookieJar causes host-only cookies saved to disk and later restored to lose their host-only status. This results in these cookies being sent to subdomains that should not receive them, potentially exposing sensitive cookie data. The issue affects versions from 0.4.3 up to but not including 0.5.9. A fix is available in version 0.5.9.
