AI-suggested
Upgrade aiohttp to version 1.16.50_2 or later, where the issue is fixed. Applying this official patch will restore correct host-only cookie behavior upon persistence and loading. No other mitigation is indicated.
Description
A vulnerability in aiohttp's CookieJar persistence causes host-only cookies saved to disk and later restored to lose their host-only status. This results in cookies being sent to subdomains that should not receive them, potentially exposing sensitive cookie data. The issue affects versions from 1.16.2 up to but not including 1.16.50_2. A patch is available in version 1.16.50_2.
