AI-suggested

A fix is available in AIOHTTP version 3.10.0. Users should upgrade to version 3.10.0 or later to mitigate this vulnerability. As a workaround, users can switch from the pure Python parser to the default C parser by not setting AIOHTTP_NO_EXTENSIONS or ensuring the standard wheel is installed.

Description

The pure Python HTTP parser used in AIOHTTP versions 3.4.2 up to but not including 3.10.0 is vulnerable to HTTP request smuggling attacks. This vulnerability affects applications using the Python parser, typically when the environment variable AIOHTTP_NO_EXTENSIONS is set or when a non-standard wheel is installed. The issue is resolved in version 3.10.0 by switching to the default C parser.
