Upgrade to Cpanel::JSON::XS version 4.80 or later where this issue is fixed. Avoid using parser objects created before thread start inside threads until patched.
Description
Cpanel::JSON::XS versions before 4.80 for Perl contain a use-after-free vulnerability related to parser objects and interpreter threads. The parser's callbacks and buffers are copied as raw scalar pointers into new interpreter threads without proper duplication, leading to use and freeing of scalars that belong to the parent interpreter. This can cause crashes and corruption of reference counts when a parser created before thread start is used inside the thread.
