Description
Multiple MediaTek chipsets have an insufficient input validation vulnerability in the Command Queue drivers' ioctl handlers, leading to out-of-bounds writes and privilege escalation. This issue is compounded by missing SELinux restrictions. The vulnerability has been observed exploited in the wild, often chained with other vulnerabilities (CVE-2019-2215 and CVE-2020-0041) in an exploit chain named "AbstractEmu."
