CVE-2023-49938 is a vulnerability in SchedMD Slurm versions 22.05.0 through 22.05.10 and 23.02.0 through 23.02.6. It involves incorrect access control where an attacker can modify their extended group list used by the sbcast subsystem, allowing unauthorized file access. Fixed versions are 22.05.11 and 23.02.7.
