Users should exercise caution with links involving callback URLs in affected versions. Monitor vendor advisories for updates or patches addressing this vulnerability. Implementing additional validation or filtering on callback URLs at the application or network level may reduce risk until an official fix is available.
Description
WSO2 Identity Server versions 5.10.0, 5.11.0, 6.0.0, 6.1.0, 7.0.0, and 7.1.0 contain an open redirect vulnerability due to insufficient validation of callback URLs. This flaw allows attackers to craft malicious links that redirect users to attacker-controlled sites, facilitating phishing attacks and potential data theft.
