AI-suggested

1. Immediately restrict access to the /sysFile/upload endpoint via network controls such as firewalls or web application firewalls (WAF) to limit exposure. 2. Implement strict server-side validation of uploaded files, including checking file types, extensions, MIME types, and scanning for malicious content. 3. Employ file upload sandboxing by storing uploaded files outside the webroot and disabling execution permissions on upload directories. 4. Monitor logs and network traffic for unusual upload activity or execution attempts related to the vulnerable component. 5. If possible, upgrade to a patched version of Novel-Plus once available or apply vendor-provided mitigations. 6. Use intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) with signatures targeting this vulnerability. 7. Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests focusing on file upload functionalities. 8. Educate development and operations teams about secure file handling practices to prevent similar vulnerabilities in the future.

Description
