AI-suggested

To mitigate this vulnerability, organizations and developers should immediately update the React Native Document Picker library to version 9.1.1 or later, where the issue is fixed. Avoid using outdated versions in production environments. Implement strict input validation and sanitization for file paths within custom components interacting with document pickers. Employ runtime application self-protection (RASP) mechanisms to detect and block suspicious file system access patterns. Educate users to avoid interacting with untrusted or suspicious document picker dialogs or files, especially from unknown sources. For environments with shared device usage, enforce strong access controls and device security policies to limit local attacker opportunities. Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing focused on mobile app components handling file operations. Monitor for any emerging exploit code or reports related to this CVE to respond promptly.

Description
