AI-suggested

To mitigate CVE-2024-30950, organizations should immediately restrict access to the /adm/admsql.php administrative interface to trusted personnel only, ideally via network segmentation or VPN access. Implement strict input validation and output encoding on all fields accepting user input, especially the SQL statements field, to neutralize potentially malicious scripts. Employ Content Security Policy (CSP) headers to limit the execution of unauthorized scripts within the admin interface. Monitor administrative logs for unusual activity or unexpected input submissions. Regularly update FUDforum installations and subscribe to vendor advisories for forthcoming patches. Educate administrators on the risks of executing untrusted inputs and the importance of secure credential management to prevent privilege escalation.

Description

A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in FUDforum v3.1.3 allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML via a crafted payload injected into the SQL statements field under /adm/admsql.php.
