AI-suggested

To mitigate CVE-2024-39669, organizations should immediately upgrade Soffid IAM Console to version 3.5.39 or later once available. If you cannot patch yet, restrict network access to the Sync Server by implementing strict firewall rules and network segmentation to limit exposure to trusted management networks only. Monitor network traffic for anomalous activity targeting the Sync Server ports and enable detailed logging to detect potential exploitation attempts. Employ application-layer firewalls or intrusion prevention systems (IPS) with signatures or heuristics to detect suspicious Java object manipulations. Conduct thorough audits of IAM configurations and credentials to identify any signs of compromise. Additionally, enforce the principle of least privilege for IAM components and isolate critical identity infrastructure from general user networks. Maintain up-to-date backups of IAM configurations and data to enable rapid recovery in case of compromise.

Description

In the Console in Soffid IAM before 3.5.39, necessary checks were not applied to some Java objects. A malicious agent could possibly execute arbitrary code in the Sync Server and compromise security.
