What to do
AI-suggested
Since no official patches are currently available, organizations should immediately implement the following mitigations: 1) Employ Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) with rules specifically designed to detect and block SQL injection attempts targeting the /login.php endpoint. 2) Conduct a thorough code review and implement parameterized queries or prepared statements in the login module to sanitize user inputs properly. 3) Restrict database user permissions to the minimum necessary to limit the impact of a successful injection. 4) Monitor logs for unusual login attempts or SQL error messages that may indicate exploitation attempts. 5) Consider temporarily disabling or restricting access to the vulnerable login functionality until a patch is available. 6) Educate development teams on secure coding practices to prevent similar vulnerabilities in future releases. 7) Plan for rapid deployment of official patches once released by the vendor.
