Description
CVE-2024-44944 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter ctnetlink subsystem where the deletion path for expectations fails to call the nf_expect_get_id() helper function. This omission causes the least significant bit of the expectation object address to be leaked to userspace. The issue has been fixed in multiple Linux kernel versions. The vulnerability has a medium severity score and does not have known exploits in the wild.
