Description
CVE-2024-47753 is a medium severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's MediaTek video codec driver. It addresses a static analysis warning in the VP8 stateless decoder code that could lead to a kernel crash when a framebuffer pointer is NULL. The issue is fixed by correcting the code in vdec_vp8_req_if.c to prevent this crash.
