What to do

AI-suggested

The vulnerability has been resolved in the Linux kernel. Users and administrators should apply the official kernel updates that include the fix for CVE-2024-50124.

Description

CVE-2024-50124 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Bluetooth ISO implementation. The flaw occurs because the conn->sk socket pointer may be unlinked or freed while waiting for a lock, leading to potential use of invalid memory. The issue has been fixed by adding a check to ensure the socket is still valid by verifying its presence in the iso_sk_list.
