The vulnerability has been resolved by adding a check for memory allocation failure in the affected driver.
Description
CVE-2024-50209 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RDMA bnxt_re driver where a missing check for memory allocation failure in the __alloc_pbl() function could lead to critical impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The driver did not verify the return status of a memory allocation call, which has been corrected.
