Description

CVE-2024-53104 is a high severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's uvcvideo driver. It involves improper handling of frames of type UVC_VS_UNDEFINED in the uvc_parse_format function, which can cause out-of-bounds writes due to incorrect buffer size calculations. This flaw has been resolved by skipping parsing of these undefined frame types.
