What to do

AI-suggested

A fix has been implemented in the Linux kernel to prevent the system hang by protecting against AXI bus access hangs caused by the disabled DVP clock during suspend. Users should update to the fixed kernel version once available. No other mitigation or workaround is indicated.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/vc4 HDMI driver caused a fatal system hang when reading debug registers while HDMI was disconnected during suspend. This occurred because the power management suspend code disabled the DVP clock, which gates the 108MHz clock, causing AXI bus accesses to hang. The issue has been resolved to prevent such hangs.
