What to do

AI-suggested

Until a fix is available, avoid scenarios that trigger simultaneous WLAN and Bluetooth firmware downloads or stress test conditions that reproduce the issue.

Description

CVE-2025-22102 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel Bluetooth btnxpuart driver that causes a kernel panic during firmware release. The issue occurs in a stress test scenario where WLAN and Bluetooth firmware downloads happen simultaneously, triggering a hardware bug that leads to improper handling of bootloader signatures. This results in a firmware download timeout and a kernel panic in the release_firmware function.
