AI-suggested

A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel source code as indicated by the listed fixed commit versions. Users and administrators should update their Linux kernel to a version including these fixes to prevent this issue.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's qla4xxx SCSI driver could lead to a kernel Oops due to improper handling of error pointers. The function qla4xxx_get_ep_fwdb() should return NULL on error, but qla4xxx_ep_connect() returns error pointers that propagate and cause a crash. This issue has been fixed by converting error pointers to NULL to prevent dereferencing errors.
