What to do

AI-suggested

A fix has been implemented in the Linux kernel source by relocating workqueue initialization to the probe function and adding proper cleanup. Users should update to a kernel version that includes this fix once available. No other mitigations are indicated.

Description

A null pointer dereference vulnerability in the Linux kernel's hi311x CAN driver occurs when resuming from sleep if the network interface was not previously enabled. This happens because the workqueue used during resume is not allocated and initialized unless the interface was opened. The issue has been fixed by moving workqueue initialization to the probe function and adding cleanup logic to prevent resource leaks.
