What to do

AI-suggested

A fix has been implemented in the Linux kernel source code to correct the pointer usage in the imx_sc_key driver. Users and administrators should apply the official Linux kernel updates that include this fix once available.

Description

A memory corruption vulnerability in the Linux kernel's imx_sc_key component was identified and resolved. The issue was caused by passing the address of a stack variable instead of the variable itself, leading to memory corruption when the imx_sc_key_action() function was called. This vulnerability has been fixed in the Linux kernel source. The flaw could allow an attacker with local privileges to cause confidentiality, integrity, and availability impacts.
