Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's md/raid10 subsystem related to handling discard requests with the REQ_NOWAIT flag has been resolved. The issue involved the function raid10_handle_discard not waiting on a barrier before returning a discard bio with REQ_NOWAIT, and unnecessary warning calltraces being printed in dmesg for such requests. This could cause quality engineers to mistakenly report errors based on dmesg logs.
