What to do

AI-suggested

Until a fix is available, restrict access to the vulnerable script and implement network-level controls to limit outbound requests from the server. Validate and sanitize all user-supplied URL parameters before use.

Description

CVE-2025-56563 is a critical Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the sat_proxy.php script of Zenith Satellite Tracker 1.0. The vulnerability arises because the script accepts a URL parameter from an unauthenticated attacker and uses it directly in a cURL request without validating the host or scheme. This allows attackers to make arbitrary HTTP/HTTPS requests from the server to internal networks or cloud metadata services, potentially exposing sensitive data or enabling further attacks.
