Technical Analysis

The vulnerability identified as CVE-2025-59326 affects CPSD CryptoPro Secure Disk for Bitlocker prior to version 7.7.4. The product fails to enforce IMA policy protections on temporary file systems, which are typically used for transient storage. Due to this failure, unsigned code can be executed from these temporary file systems, potentially bypassing code integrity checks that are expected to prevent unauthorized or malicious code execution.

Potential Impact

The impact of this vulnerability is that an attacker with the ability to place unsigned code on a temporary file system could execute that code, circumventing IMA policy protections. This could lead to unauthorized code execution within the environment where CPSD CryptoPro Secure Disk for Bitlocker is deployed. No specific exploitation in the wild has been reported, and no CVSS score is provided.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. The description references version 7.7.4 as the version where enforcement presumably is fixed, so upgrading to version 7.7.4 or later is likely the intended remediation once confirmed by the vendor.
