AI-suggested

  1. Immediate mitigation should include restricting administrator access through strong authentication mechanisms such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) to reduce the risk of credential compromise.
  2. Implement strict input validation and parameterized queries in the Form Builder view functionality to prevent SQL injection. Since no patches are currently available, consider applying virtual patching via Web Application Firewalls (WAF) configured to detect and block suspicious SQL injection patterns targeting the 'field' parameter.
  3. Conduct regular audits of administrator accounts and monitor logs for unusual query patterns or access behaviors indicative of exploitation attempts.
  4. Limit the number of administrators and enforce the principle of least privilege to minimize exposure.
  5. Stay updated with vendor announcements for official patches and apply them promptly once released.
  6. Perform security awareness training for administrators to recognize phishing or social engineering attempts that could lead to credential theft.
  7. Backup critical CMS data regularly and verify the integrity of backups to enable recovery in case of data tampering.

Description
