What to do

AI-suggested

To mitigate CVE-2025-65734, organizations should promptly upgrade Open eClass to version 3.13 or later, where the vulnerability is fixed. Until upgrading is possible, restrict file upload permissions to only trusted users and implement strict input validation on uploaded files, specifically blocking or sanitizing SVG files. Employ network segmentation and least privilege principles to limit the impact of a potential compromise. Monitor logs for unusual file upload activity or authentication anomalies. Conduct regular credential audits and enforce strong authentication mechanisms such as multi-factor authentication to reduce the risk of credential compromise. Additionally, consider deploying web application firewalls (WAFs) with rules to detect and block malicious SVG payloads. Educate users about phishing and credential security to prevent unauthorized access. Finally, maintain regular backups and have an incident response plan ready to address potential exploitation.

Description
