What to do
AI-suggested
Until a fix is available, users should consider implementing web application firewall (WAF) rules to detect and block SQL injection attempts targeting the vulnerable parameters. Input validation and parameterized queries should be applied as a long-term mitigation once source code access is possible.
Description
Sourcecodester CASAP Automated Enrollment System 1.0 contains a critical SQL Injection vulnerability in the save_stud.php script via the parameters fname, lname, and student_class. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands, potentially leading to full compromise of the database confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
