A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel source code as indicated by the listed fixed commits. Users should update to the patched Linux kernel version 6.5 or later containing these fixes to remediate the issue.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMD GPU driver (drm/amdgpu) causes a GPU page fault after resuming from hibernation in a PF passthrough environment. The issue arises because the partition mode is not restored correctly after resume, leading to out-of-bound access on the MQD buffer object and resulting in a page fault. The flaw has been fixed by ensuring the compute partition switch function is called during resume.
