What to do
AI-suggested
Until a fix is available, restrict network access to the device's RTSP service to trusted users only and consider network segmentation to limit exposure. Monitor for any vendor updates regarding patches or configuration changes that allow credential modification.
Description
Zosi C519M version 4.2.8.823C01450BA contains hardcoded credentials in its RTSP authentication mechanism. This incorrect access control vulnerability allows an attacker with network access to use these unchangeable default credentials to access the RTSP video stream. This results in unauthorized viewing of camera footage. The vulnerability has a high severity score of 7.5 and does not require user interaction or privileges to exploit.
