Vendor/Project: Weaver Network Co., Ltd.
Product: E-cology

Description

Weaver Network Co., Ltd. E-cology versions 8.0, 9.0, and 10.0 prior to 10.76 contain an unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability in the /api/doc/out/more/list endpoint via the elementmore parameter when srcType=2. Attackers can exploit this flaw by injecting SQL through the doc_datefrom and doc_dateto fields and retrieve database information via the /api/ec/dev/table/counts endpoint. This vulnerability was first observed in exploitation attempts by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2026-07-19. The vulnerability has a high severity with a CVSS 4.0 score of 8.8.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2025-71434 is an unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability affecting Weaver Network Co., Ltd.'s E-cology product versions 8.0, 9.0, and 10.0 prior to 10.76. The flaw exists in the /api/doc/out/more/list endpoint, specifically via the elementmore parameter when srcType=2. Attackers can inject SQL commands through the doc_datefrom and doc_dateto parameters, enabling them to extract database information by reading results through the /api/ec/dev/table/counts endpoint. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute unauthorized SQL queries without authentication. Exploitation evidence was first observed on 2026-07-19 by the Shadowserver Foundation. The CVSS 4.0 vector indicates network attack vector, low attack complexity, no privileges or user interaction required, and high impact on confidentiality.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows unauthenticated remote attackers to perform SQL injection attacks, leading to unauthorized disclosure of database information. This can compromise sensitive data stored in the E-cology system. The vulnerability impacts confidentiality with high impact, while integrity and availability impacts are low.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Since no patch or official fix information is provided, users should monitor vendor communications for updates. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the affected endpoints if possible and consider implementing web application firewall (WAF) rules to detect and block SQL injection attempts targeting the specified parameters.
