Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/msm driver involves improper handling of hung GPU submits during recovery. Retiring a hung submit before the GPU recovery completes can cause GPU page faults due to premature buffer object (BO) freeing. The issue is fixed by deferring the retirement of submits until after GPU recovery is complete.
