Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-100192 describes a missing authentication vulnerability in the X-SpringBoot product by yzcheng90, affecting versions up to 6.0. The GET /application/manager/select endpoint exposes appKey and appSecret credentials without authentication or field filtering. An attacker can exploit this to obtain these credentials and send arbitrary SMS messages on behalf of any tenant, leading to SMS bombing and impersonation.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to access sensitive credentials (appKey and appSecret) and abuse the SMS sending functionality of any tenant. This can result in SMS bombing attacks and impersonation, potentially causing service disruption and reputational damage to affected tenants.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the vulnerable endpoint and monitor for suspicious activity related to SMS sending. Implement authentication and proper access controls on the /application/manager/select endpoint to prevent unauthorized credential exposure.
