Published: 07/18/2026 (07/18/2026, 22:15:13 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: FalkorDB
Product: QueryWeaver

Description

QueryWeaver in FalkorDB has an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to obtain valid session tokens for existing accounts by submitting a signup request with a victim's email. The signup process creates and links a new token to the victim's identity before verifying if the email is already registered, resulting in unauthorized access without credentials or user interaction.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-10130 describes an authentication bypass in FalkorDB's QueryWeaver component. The vulnerability arises because the signup route uses a Cypher MERGE operation to create and link a session token to an identity before checking if the email belongs to an existing account. This logic flaw allows attackers to submit a signup request with a known victim email and receive a valid authenticated session token for that victim's account without any prior authentication or user interaction.

Potential Impact

An attacker can gain unauthorized access to existing user accounts by obtaining valid session tokens without credentials. This compromises confidentiality (high impact) by exposing user sessions, with limited integrity impact and no availability impact as per the CVSS vector.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. No official fix or temporary mitigation has been provided at this time.
