Since the vulnerability requires authenticated HTTP access, restricting access to the firmware update interface and monitoring for unauthorized firmware update attempts is recommended. Check the vendor's advisory for updates and apply any official patches once available.
Description
CVE-2026-10141 is a critical vulnerability in the boa firmware update functionality of the Totolink X2000R router (version TOTOLINK-X2000R-Gh-V1.0.0-B20250421.1327). The flaw is due to improper verification of cryptographic signatures, allowing an attacker to upload and install arbitrary firmware by sending an authenticated HTTP request. This can lead to full compromise of the device.
