Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-103304 describes a missing authorization vulnerability (CWE-862) in the eaSYNC Booking WordPress plugin prior to version 1.3.31. The plugin fails to perform necessary authorization and nonce verification on multiple AJAX endpoints related to booking cancellations. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can submit cancellation requests, cause the system to send booking notification emails, and modify the content of those emails without proper permissions.

Potential Impact

Unauthenticated attackers can manipulate booking cancellations and notifications, potentially disrupting booking operations and causing unauthorized email notifications with altered content to be sent. This could lead to confusion or misuse of the booking system's communication channels.

Mitigation Recommendations

Upgrade the eaSYNC Booking plugin to version 1.3.31 or later where this vulnerability is fixed. Since the affected versions are explicitly stated, applying the official update is the recommended remediation. No additional mitigation guidance is provided in the input data.
