Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-103307 is a SQL injection vulnerability (CWE-89) in the Walletdoc Payment Gateway for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress. Versions prior to 1.8.5 do not properly sanitize and escape user input before incorporating it into SQL queries. The plugin also uses a payment webhook verification mechanism with a signing secret that defaults to empty, enabling unauthenticated attackers to exploit the injection flaw and manipulate order statuses by marking arbitrary orders as paid.

Potential Impact

An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform SQL injection attacks on the plugin's database, potentially manipulating order data. Specifically, attackers can mark arbitrary orders as paid without authorization, which can lead to fraudulent transactions and financial loss for merchants using the plugin.

Mitigation Recommendations

A fix is available in version 1.8.5 of the Walletdoc Payment Gateway for WooCommerce plugin. Users should upgrade to version 1.8.5 or later to remediate this vulnerability. There is no indication that the vendor has provided alternative mitigations or that the issue is already mitigated without patching.
