Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-103696 identifies an SQL injection vulnerability (CWE-89) in the Mobile builder WordPress plugin through version 1.4.2. The vulnerability arises because the plugin does not sanitize and escape a parameter before incorporating it into a SQL query. This enables unauthenticated attackers to execute SQL injection attacks on affected sites that have the WCFM Delivery add-on installed.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow unauthenticated attackers to manipulate SQL queries executed by the plugin, potentially leading to unauthorized data access or modification on affected WordPress sites running the WCFM Delivery add-on.

Mitigation Recommendations

No official patch or remediation guidance is provided in the available data. Users should monitor the vendor advisory for updates and consider disabling the Mobile builder plugin or the WCFM Delivery add-on until a fix is released. Applying principle of least privilege and restricting access to the affected plugin may reduce risk.
